The Summer Solstice is the longest day & shortest night of the year. It is a sacred and vibrant season of vitality, life and light in the Northern Hemisphere. This is the season of growth and transformation. Fire has been an integral thread to rituals and honoring this turning of the wheel since ancient times.
Join us for this practice of handbuilding a set of candelabres to honor this time.
We will explore a sacred ritual for ourselves and in community to welcome and celebrate this new season upon us. You will leave with a toolkit to integrate and explore all summer long.
This class is for ages 16+ and price for the class includes clay, firing and glazing of your pair of candelabres. Space is limited therefore, preregistration is required. All pieces will be ready for pick up 3-6 weeks following the class date.
